Moath Al Shaibah & Partners Law Firm is pleased to publish one of the scholarly works of Sheikh Dr. Ibrahim Shami Shaibah Al Adawi Al Qurashi, the firm’s Principal Founding Member and Sharia & Legal Advisor, through which he earned his Ph.D. in Islamic Jurisprudence and Its Principles (Fiqh and Usul al-Fiqh) from Umm Al-Qura University
The dissertation is titled “Al-Jami’ li Masa’il Al-Mudawwanah wa Sharhuha wa Dhikru Nazairiha wa Amthaliha” (A Comprehensive Study of Al-Mudawwanah: Commentary, Analogous Rulings, and Juristic Parallels), based on the work of Imam Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Yunus Al-Tamimi Al-Siqilli (d. 451 AH). This published volume covers the text from the beginning of the book through the end of the Book of Fasting and represents a peer-reviewed academic study and critical edition of one of the most significant sources in the Maliki school of Islamic jurisprudence.
The dissertation has been cataloged in the King Abdullah University Library at Umm Al-Qura University. In addition, the remaining volumes of the research have already been published in print up to the chapter on the rescission of financial contracts and will be made available online as they are prepared for digital publication.
